The EV charging station at La Morea Shopping and Leisure Center in Cordovilla, Pamplona, stands out as an exclusive project designed to set a benchmark in the landscape of electric vehicle charging. With a focus on sustainability, this facility is dedicated to charging electric vehicles using 100% renewable energy, thanks to its innovative solar canopy. More than just practical and functional, the charging station reflects modern needs and realities with a forward-looking approach.

KEY FEATURES OF THE EV CHARGING STATION:

  • Cutting-Edge and Exclusive Design.

Exclusively designed for La Morea, this charging station aims to be a pioneering example of electric vehicle charging infrastructure.

  • Renewable Energy and Solar Panel Canopy.

The visually appealing and functional canopy features 424 dual-glass solar panels. This innovative design allows visibility of the photovoltaic cells on both sides, enhancing visual appeal and durability. Additionally, the panels let 12% of natural light through, creating a shaded yet naturally lit space. The solar installation has a production capacity of 194 MWh/year, preventing the release of 79 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere annually.

  • Innovative Structure

The structure consists of a spatial truss supported by 10 pillars, elevating the canopy to a height of 6.5 meters and covering an area of 900 square meters. The design ensures a minimum clearance height of 5 meters, blending functionality with aesthetic elegance.

  • Efficient Chargers with Remote Management

The charging station offers 32 charging points with two power levels: 22 kW and 120 kW. All chargers are telematically managed through a free mobile app, providing users with convenient control over the charging process.

Sustainability Meets Innovation.

This project meets the growing demand for EV charging at La Morea while significantly reducing the shopping center's environmental impact. Combining advanced design, sustainability, and cutting-edge technology, it sets a new standard for EV charging stations. It demonstrates how innovation and environmental responsibility can converge to create sustainable, attractive solutions.
