The challenge of designing the canopy for Duinpark Camping in the Netherlands was achieving perfect integration in an environment where aesthetics and sustainability merge seamlessly. Set in a high-end camping facility renowned for its natural wooden mobile homes with modern rustic designs, our mission was to create a canopy that not only complemented this vision but also aligned with the site’s eco-friendly policy and goal of zero environmental impact.
KEY FEATURES OF THE PROJECT:
- Harmonious Design with the Surroundings.
To achieve perfect integration, we designed a laminated timber canopy that blends effortlessly with the surrounding mobile homes. This material choice not only meets the desired aesthetic but also supports the camping site’s eco-friendly principles.
- Protection and Comfort.
The canopy serves not only as a source of energy generation but also as a space providing shelter and comfort for both vehicles and camping guests. This holistic approach reflects meticulous attention to user needs and the campsite’s commitment to offering a high-quality experience.
- Project Specifications.
The canopy accommodates 8 parking spaces, covering a surface area of 205 m². Its installed capacity of 38 kWp ensures efficient energy generation to meet the campsite’s demands, contributing to its sustainability goals.
