This impressive Solar Porch, the result of a public tender, is located in the terrace area of the dining building at UPNA’s Arrosadía campus in Pamplona (Public University of Navarre).. The project aligns seamlessly with UPNA’s ongoing initiatives to reduce its environmental impact, showcasing its commitment to sustainability and innovation. The Solar Porch contributes significantly to this mission, and we hope it will inspire other institutions to follow suit in transitioning towards a more sustainable future.

The structure spans 370 square metres with dimensions of 10 metres wide by 37 metres long. It is equipped with 128 solar panels and has an installed capacity of 50,560 Wp. Designed with care, it provides a fully waterproof, comfortable, and functional space while integrating solar technology harmoniously into the university environment.

With an annual output of 71.30 MWh, this porch demonstrates the effectiveness of our solar technology, and the 33 tonnes of CO₂ emissions avoided highlight the positive environmental impact we can achieve.

The meticulously crafted aesthetic of this solar porch, a signature of ENERparking, seamlessly blends with the architectural surroundings of UPNA, enhancing campus life for the university community and adding to the campus’s visual appeal.
